I am delighted to welcome you to Commonswood Primary & Nursery School.

We hope this website will give you an insight into our school. Please take the time to take a look at our carefully designed curriculum and read our newsletters as these will inform you of some of school events and what the children have been getting up to!

Commonswood School is an exciting place to be, full of outstanding children, enthusiastic staff and lots of wonderful learning opportunities. We are a school where our children are at the very heart of everything we do. We offer a warm and nurturing environment which enables children to feel safe ad secure as they grow, learn and develop as individuals. During our last inspection, Ofsted recognised the outstanding work we do to support the personal development of children. We have high expectations of the children’s learning to help them to make the best possible progress in all aspects of their learning and personal and social development.

We are a thriving school with our own orchard and forest area within the school grounds which gives lots of wonderful learning opportunities. The school is also next to a nature reserve which is often visited as part of our curriculum.
