English In literacy we will be looking at a variety of genres. The children will focus on Poetic styles, reading and responding to a range of poems; writing recounts, including instructions and film narratives. |

Maths
It is really important that the children follow their mental skills by continuing to practice them at home. Knowing their number bonds to 100 and being able to multiply and divide by 10, 100 and 1000 will aid their mathematical skills in class. |

ICT During the first half of the term we will be introducing spreadsheets and during the second half of the term the children will focus on controlling devices. |

RE The children will be looking at rules in different religions and next half term they will be learning about the Christian festival of Christmas. Creation Stories and write their own versions |
