	English Writing is taught within a cross curricular approach liked with our topic. We will be writing in the following genres: Instructions Narrative Information Texts Reports letters Guided reading is taught everyday Spelling is taught at regular times throughout the week using the Ruth Miskins Literacy Program.
	Maths The following topics will be taught in our daily maths lesson: Place value, ordering, estimating, rounding. Reading numbers from scales.. Money and real life problems. Making decisions and checking results Understanding + and -. Measures, including problems (length, mass, capacity) Shape and space Reasoning about shape and space.
	ICT Exploring Simulations Manipulating Sound
	Geography We will be studying the topic; Old Hatfield
	History We will be studying the topic; Old Hatfield
